Hello everyone!
We just had snow, and it was one of those slow falling, picturesque kind of snow falls.
Hope you all are doing well and enjoying the new year. It has been an exciting January. Regardless of political leanings it was quite something to watch the sights and sounds of our new president. Jane has begun eating new types of food: home made baby food: mushy peas...yum:) and lots of oatmeal. We are also adjusting to life with a three legged dog. That's right. Lizzie, our golden retriever, had her right front leg removed after a recurrence of cancer. She is actually getting along fine, making her way up the stairs in our house (we have many) and figuring out what life is like with a disability.
Have a great week. Love Jon, Heather & Jane

We always love seeing new pictures! Hope Lizzie makes a good recovery. Jane is just too cool with her glasses. How fun--green peas!

Poor Lizzie! Sorry to hear that! :( She sure is a trooper! Go Jane! She's growing up so fast! haha... She's just adorable! :)
Oh no! Poor lil' Liz! I hope she is recovering well and learns to enjoy life without all of her appendages :) A 3 legged dog grew up next to us, and it didn't seem to bother him at all!! Wow! I cannot believe how old Jane is...and getting cuter by the day! I am looking forward to seeing her (and you!) at lunch this week! She is growing up way too fast...slow down! Before you know it, our girls are going to be talking to each other! You'll have to give us updates on all of the food...I can't wait to see how it goes! You're such a good mommy!
So sorry to hear about Lizzie! I hope she is recovering and adjusting quickly.
And Jane is just the cutest. Love her!
See you in a few!
I like that Jane is working on adjusting that pair of glasses. She'll make a good optometrist or optician, not a bad profession I hear. She looks like the peas are a bit of a new texture for her, so cute! Hope Lizzie heals well too.
